[October 1, 2025] – Prof. Hyun Jung Kim has been selected as a 2026 Class Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
The AIAA Associate Fellow honor is conferred upon individuals who have made significant contributions to the arts, science, and technology in the aerospace field. Each year, the AIAA selects and approves only one candidate per 150 eligible voters, and merely approximately 17% of its total members hold the Associate Fellow designation.
Prof. Hyun Jung Kim was chosen as an Associate Fellow in recognition of her outstanding contributions and achievements to the global aerospace community.
